Boilerplate

Keasy is a Florida-Keys-native lifestyle apparel brand built around the actual cartography of the place — the reef tract, Hawk Channel, Florida Bay, the Marquesas. The Phase 1 line leads with all-over-print performance polyester sun shirts and tees (sublimation-printed with NOAA-chart-derived art) plus performance neck gaiters, with a 100% cotton lifestyle line in production.

Designed in the Florida Keys, printed in the U.S. Operated by Aquila Strategies LLC. “It ain’t easy being Keasy.”

Founder

I started Keasy because every shirt at every marina between MM0 and Marathon either had a marlin silhouette on it or said “Salty Vibes Only” in cursive — and neither of those is the Keys. Salt Life is a Jacksonville brand. Columbia PFG is a Pacific Northwest brand making clothes for our weather. Huk is Mississippi. The big fishing-apparel category sells the idea of saltwater. Nobody sells the actual cartography of this place.

That’s the thesis: the actual cartography, not a tropical aesthetic. The reef tract is a real arc — Carysfort north, Sand Key west — and you can put it on a back panel without inventing a single line. Hawk Channel has a shape. Florida Bay has a depth signature. The Marquesas are 25 nautical miles past where US-1 ends. Draw that. Wear that.

I run this water. I’ve been skunked at Bahia Honda, sunburned through a cheap cotton tee on the run back from the Marquesas, and watched a hundred-pound Silver King eat a fly at Channel Five at slack tide. Keasy is what I wish I’d been wearing all of those days.

Voice + positioning

Keasy is the 168 miles of US-1 + open water that other Keys-named brands skip past. Salt Life is Jacksonville. Choona is 30A. Salty Crew is San Diego. Keasy is MM0 to Marquesas. Designed by people who actually live and run this water; tested at Bahia Honda, the Bay, and the back of Sand Key.

What we’d like coverage to do

  • Treat the cartographic vocabulary as the brand’s point — not a styling choice.
  • If you reproduce art, credit NOAA Chart 11451 as the source for the reef-tract artwork.
  • If you reproduce the wordmark, keep the safe area (one wordmark height) clear.
