Why is Islamorada called the bonefish capital?
Islamorada in the middle Florida Keys sits next to thousands of acres of clear, shallow flats — the preferred habitat of Albula vulpes. The species is notoriously skittish and sight-fished from a poling skiff, which is the tradition that built Islamorada's flats-fishing reputation.
